Plated Heirlooms, my first book, is a complete resource about Classic Palestinian Cuisine. It is about the history and the story of Palestinian Food. 'Cuisine' itself is the story of the people who created it, ever reflective of all aspects of a people's lives, and that is the essence of what I wanted to capture in this book.
Plated Heirlooms, pours from the belief that while all food is dictated by geography, it is culture that creates and shapes the many varieties that a cuisine plates. As such, Plated Heirlooms is an intriguing blend of cultural history, family stories and Palestinian cuisine recipes.
