A Salad Dressing that can dress many foods!

You can never have enough Salad dressing recipes! The dressing transforms your salads. The same Salad with a different dressing becomes a totally new salad altogether! This Salad dressing is awesome I use it to dress many Salads (see options below), and I also use it to dress some foods like Falafel, and chicken Shawerma before wrapping into a sandwich!

If you reduce the lemons, and increase the honey it becomes thicker and sweeter, which makes it a perfect dip! Similar to the sweet and spicy dip. Give it a try!

Ingredients

  • Juice of 1 large lemons/2 limes depending what you wish to pair it with
  • 1 tbsp raw honey
  • 1/4 cup DS Premium Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 tbsp DS Organic Green Shatta (green chili sauce, optional for spicy)
  • DS Himalayan Pink Salt to taste
  • Freshly cracked black pepper to taste

Place the lemon juice, the honey, olive oil and shatta in a cup or jar.

Add the seasoning and stir all or shake the jar until all the ingredients are incorporated and the dressing does not look separated.

Add the dressing to your salad and mix well.

This dressing keeps well in the fridge for up to 7 days, so make it in advance and use when needed throughout the week.

This Salad dressing can also be done using DS Organic Red Shatta (red chili sauce). The shatta makes the dressing really delicious.

You can remove the mint and use any other herb if it pairs better with your salad ingredients. Think basil, coriander, thyme, rosemary, sage…. You can also add my DS Dried Zaatar Mix or DS Organic Pickled Zaatar for a fabulous thyme infusion!
