This is one serious chocolate fix!!!

 

 

Ingredients

Serves: 6-8
  • 1 cup Flour
  • 2 tbsp Cocoa Powder
  • 3/4 cup Sugar
  • 2 tsp Baking Powder
  • Pinch Salt
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable Oil
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1/2 Cup Chopped Pecans or Walnuts

For Chocolate Sauce

  • 1/4 cup Cocoa Powder
  • 1 1/2 cup Boiling Water
  • 3/4 cup Brown Sugar

 

Grease a medium-size deep baking dish, or 6 small ramekins/mugs and set aside.

Preheat your oven to 350F-180C.

In a large bowl, stir together flour, salt, sugar, baking powder & cocoa powder. Stir in the milk, oil & Vanilla. Add chopped nuts and stir. Pour the batter into prepared baking dish/ramekins/mugs.

To Prepare Chocolate Sauce

In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar & 1/4 cup Cocoa Powder. Stir in the boiling water until well incorporated. Slowly pour the chocolate sauce over the batter. Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes.

Remove from the oven and cool on wire rack for 1 hour before serving.

Serve warm, along with vanilla ice cream if you wish.
