Warm & Fuzzy Winter Feeling

Only the Hot Chocolate

can do that. It could be freezing outside, there could be a snow storm, it could be cloudy, grey and rainy… But in the company of hot chocolate, all is warm and fuzzy. All is good and cozy… velvety, succulent, absolutely indulgent!!! This gush of sweet, creamy smoothness, makes every sip a treat.

The aromas of cocoa are known for their therapeutic and healing properties that they are used in Aromatherapy oils. This is pure goodness in a warm cup to keep you company on those cold days, or when it’s “Me Time”.

Ingredients

Serves: 6
  • 60g 60% dark chocolate, coarsely chopped
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 4 cups milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (recipe on this link)
  • 1 tbsp instant coffee granules (optional)
  • Whipped cream (optional)
  • Mini Marshmallows (optional)
  • Cocoa Powder for dusting

 

In a medium saucepan combine chocolate, honey and ½ cup of the milk.

Stir over medium heat until the mixture just comes to boiling.

Stir in the remaining 3 ½ cups of milk and coffee granules (if using for a Mocha flavour). Heat through, but do not boil.

Remove from heat.

Add vanilla and if desired, beat the mixture with a rotary beater until frothy, then top with whipped cream or mini marshmallows.

Sip and relax, read a book and take that time for you…
